"You Shook Me" can bring many ideas to mind. It all depends on how you feel about being shook all night long and with the way you're being shook. When you go to put a baby to sleep sometimes you have to shake him in his crib or in his bed. A lot of times when a man or woman get a good shaking, they go right to sleep. And that's the one part of life that's peaceful. "You shook me, you shook me all night long, kept on shaking me, no you have messed up my happy home." If somebody can shake you well enough you forget about all of that. Now when you get to rolling you can go place. "Roll me, roll me like a wagon wheel." Rolling is a good thing, it all depends on who's rolling you. It's just like making bread--they have to roll that dough. And then somebody can roll you for your old lady or your old man. There's a lot of ways to look at that. That's why I say it all depends on the type of mind you have and how you think about these things. It's all the way you think about it and the way you've been trained to believe in it. What you say in one way can mean a lot and then you can say the same identical thing in another way and it can mean something else.
